Tulsa Community College is all about opportunity, learning and success for students. TCC is a comprehensive community college that serves 28,000 students annually in credit classes offered on its four campuses and online. Approximately 3,500 first-time students enter the College each year.
The College has a 19-1 student-to-faculty ratio. Approximately 35.2% of the student population is comprised of minority groups.
TCC conferred 2,797 degrees and certificates in 2013. TCC ranks 29th among the nation’s nearly 1,200 two-year institutions for granting associate degrees, according to Community College Week. In specific program areas, TCC ranks second in education, sixth in business, 14th in health-related programs and 16th in communications, journalism and related programs for degrees granted.
TCC students have access to many academic support services, such as academic advisement, career services, writing and tutoring labs, TCC Libraries, and an Education Access Center that provides assistance with broad and specialized learning needs and accommodates people with disabilities.
Part of student life at TCC includes the opportunity to participate in a variety of student organizations and activities. The Student Government Association, Phi Theta Kappa, African American Student Association, Hispanic Student Association, Baptist Collegiate Ministries, along with many others are open to all TCC students to enrich their collegiate experiences.
