Polish music provides a bedrock for classical music, and who better to probe those layers than Principal Guest Conductor Piotr Sulkowski. He will lead the Signature Symphony at Tulsa Community College “In the Land of Chopin” at 8 p.m. Jan. 26 in the VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education.

Sulkowski will bring the land of Chopin up to date with Kilar, Bacewicz and Lutoslawski. Plus, concertmaster Maureen O’Boyle will be featured in the rarely heard third Violin Concerto of Grazyna Bacewicz.
