Where Are They Now?
Nathan Paris, 2011 graduate of Associate in Applied Science in Nursing, is now finishing a master’s degree in Nursing Education at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa. He is a perioperative surgical nurse. He says the education he received at TCC laid the clinical foundation for everything he has been able to do since graduation.
As a biology major at Oklahoma State University, Amie Francis has three scholarships. She received an Associate in Science and a Certificate of Achievement in Biotechnology from TCC in 2012. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in May 2014, she plans to attend graduate school and later pursue a career in scientific research.
Ken Wood, 1998 graduate of Associate in Arts, now has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art & Design. He is a TCC Professor in Digital Media. He says as a TCC faculty member, he is humbled to now be able to work with many of the same teachers that he studied under while a student at TCC.
After receiving his Certificate of Mastery and CDA, James Matney is now pursuing an Associate in Science in Early Childhood Education. He is a teacher’s assistant at Tulsa Educare. He says that he appreciates the support that all of the faculty and staff have given him during his time at TCC.
Mandy Smith graduated from TCC with an Associate Degree in Pre-Social Work in 2013. She is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow. She says TCC prepared her well for the courses she is now taking at NSU-BA.ShareThis
