OFFERINGS Exhibit & Opening Reception
Artists and writers will showcase their work in “OFFERINGS”, an exhibition by Tulsa Community College’s Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity in downtown Tulsa, April 3-27. The exhibit will explore themes of gratitude, respect, connection, and reciprocity. Inspired by TCC’s common book Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, submitted artworks may recognize and celebrate our connection to the natural world. Award-winning and Emmy-nominated Comanche and Chickasaw/Choctaw artist and flutist Timothy Nevaquaya will perform at the ‘OFFERINGS’ opening reception on Friday, April 5 from 5-7 p.m. Nevaquaya’s art will also be displayed. The exhibition is on display April 3–27 in the event hall of the McKeon Center for Creativity. Visit the opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 5. Call before visiting for exhibit hours: 918-595-7339
