Prior to joining TCC, Hutchings was the Corporate & Government Affairs Manager for American Airlines covering Oklahoma. She represented American during their various changes ranging from introducing new leadership, restructuring, and their most recent merger with US Airways. Hutchings began her career at American Airlines in 1995 and worked in various capacities, including Supply Chain, Warranty and Maintenance and Production Scheduling.

She is a TCC graduate with a unique perspective of higher education for the student as well as the corporate and business community,” Lauren Brookey, TCC vice president of external affairs and TCC Foundation president said. “She has significant experience from her corporate background with one of Tulsa’s largest employers and has built relationships across the state.”
She has a master’s in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Oklahoma, a bachelor’s in Business Management from University of Phoenix, and an associate degree in Business Management from Tulsa Community College.
Hutchings is Chair of the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, President of the Board of Trustees for the Tulsa’s Young Professionals Foundation, and on the Executive Committee of the OK Academy. She is also involved in Leadership Oklahoma (Class XXVII).
She and her husband, Dean, have six children. They make their home in Skiatook, where she is also the Secretary for the Skiatook Public Schools Support Foundation.
