TCC invites students, faculty & staff to march in Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade

January 17, 2013

The Tulsa Community College African American Student Association invites TCC faculty, staff and students from all campuses to march in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade on Monday, Jan. 21. Participants are asked to wear TCC blue or solid black outer wear.

Although the parade begins at 11 a.m., TCC participants need to arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the TCC Metro Campus. Since several streets will be blocked and traffic will be heavy, participants should park their cars in the northeast parking lot across from the Center for Creativity on the TCC Metro Campus. They will be transported to the parade's starting point at the intersection of John Hope Franklin and Cincinnati. After the parade, they will be transported back to the TCC Metro Campus.
