Tulsa Community College students will have access to fabulous state-of-the-art equipment and computers in the upcoming academic year courtesy of Fab Lab.
Dr. John Gibson, provost of TCC’s Northeast Campus, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of TCC with Hardesty Center for Fab Lab Tulsa this week. Fab Lab Executive Director Nathan Pritchett signed the agreement on behalf of the lab.
The MOU allows TCC Drafting and Design Technology professor Kirk Elliot to use the lab with his students throughout the 2012-2013 academic year. The lab is a non-profit entity that has collaborated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to assemble a diverse collection of equipment and computers into one workspace as a community center for innovation, entrepreneurship and education.
