Best of TCC honors alumni from across globe

Tulsa Community College honored the 2012 Best of TCC on May 31 at the Hyatt Regency. The annual banquet honorered those who have graduated and/or attended TCC and are making positive impacts in their communities and economies. This year’s honorees hail from Tulsa, Sapulpa, Sand Springs, New York City, Russia and more.

In addition to honorees, four current TCC students were recognized at the event as this year’s TCC Alumni & Friends Scholarship recipients. The students who received scholarships were Blake Neece, Nicole Massongil, Dawn Ross and Jonnie Wilson. This scholarship is funded by proceeds of the Best of TCC event, and students are chosen based on academic excellence.

The banquet also serves as a fundraiser for the TCC Foundation, which provides scholarships for students and grants for faculty, among many other endeavors.
