Tulsa plans week-long activities for entrepreneurs: Spirit Award winner announcement Nov. 15

City officials, businesses, entrepreneurs and Tulsa Community College are readying for Global Entrepreneurship Week which is Nov. 14-18. One of the most anticipated events is the announcement of the 2011 SpiritBank/Tulsa Community College Entrepreneurial Spirit Award winner on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the Center for Creativity.

Other events include:

• Monday: 2011 Tulsa Global Entrepreneurship Week Kick-off with StartUp Weekend Tulsa Presents Battle of the StartUps;
• Tuesday: Tulsa Metro Chamber Round Table Connection 5.0; What’s up in IP (Intellectual Property)?; and SpiritBank/TCC Entrepreneurial Spirit Award Celebration;
• Wednesday: Pitch-O-Rama; Entrepreneurial Resource Summit and Networking Event; and
• Thursday: Meet the Press; The Tulsey Awards.
