Tuition and Financial Assistance

  • The cost of each work force certificate, which includes six components (five core components and one internship or elective secondary component), is $300. Full payment is due upon notification of acceptance to the program and must be paid in full prior to starting the first component of the program.
  • Students who successfully complete the continuing education curriculum for one of the Health IT work force certificates are eligible to receive a full-refund stipend in the amount of $300, until all stipend funding has been expended.
  • Federal stipends are only available for one Health IT work force certificate per student. Students electing to complete the curriculum for more than one work force role will not be eligible to receive additional stipend funding and are responsible for all associated costs.
  • A clinical internship may be required for some of the work force roles especially for students with minimal work experience in those designated roles. A criminal background check, drug screen, immunizations, current TB test and CPR may be required by the clinical site and the cost associated with these items is the responsibility of the student. Travel, also at the expense of the student, may be required to complete these internships or professional practical experience.
  • Individuals who withdraw from the program within two weeks of the start date will receive a full refund in the amount of $300. After two weeks, no refunds will be made.
