RADIOGRAPHY PROGRAM FAQ’s
1. How do I apply for the program?
Print a copy of the program application from the website www.tulsacc.edu, or request one from TCC Allied Health department at 918-595-7002. After completing the application send it to Allied Health Department, TCC Metro Campus, 909 So. Boston, Tulsa, OK 74119.
2. Who is eligible to apply to the program?
Any current TCC student with a GPA above 2.0 is eligible to apply. There are no pre-requisites for application
to the program
3. When is the deadline to apply?
Applications are accepted every year until Feb. 1.
4. When does the program begin?
A new class of approximately 27 students begins yearly in June.
5. How is a class selected?
Every applicant is ranked using an academic ranking formula that includes ACT scores, GPA, and college classes completed. For more information, go to the TCC website, click on Programs and Courses, click on Health Sciences, then Radiography, and Class Selection Criteria.
6. How much does the program cost?
The program consists of 72 credit hours of required coursework, and with tuition and fees, textbooks, and other required fees the total cost is approximately $9000 to $10,000 dollars for the 6 semesters for students paying in state tuition and fees.
7. Are letters of reference required?
No letters of reference are required or accepted. Entry into the program is based solely on academic achievement.
8. What can I do to better my chances of acceptance?
Students with the highest ACT scores, GPA, and college classes completed will attain the highest ranking scores. There is no minimum ACT score, but if ACT scores in Math, Science, and Composite are below 20 it is recommended the applicant attempt to raise them. The ACT exam is given at the TCC NE campus Counseling and Testing office.ShareThis
