Courses Taught
CSYS 1013 - XHTML 
Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and the syntax of eXtensible Markup Language (XML) combined in the form of eXtensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML) will be presented along with Web page design and efficiency principals and techniques. Projects will include the creation of a variety of different types of Web pages for Internet and intranet use.

CSYS2033 - Scripting (JavaScript) 
Course objectives consist of learning the JavaScript scripting language and how it is used to create dynamic content for Web pages through the use of variables, functions, objects, and events along with data types and operators. Also covered will be the use of the JavaScript language to process Web-based forms, animations, cookies and implementing Web page security.

CSYS2863 - Rails I (Ruby on Rails) 
The Ruby on Rails course will teach students the basics of designing and implementing Web applications using the model/view/controller design pattern with the Ruby on Rails framework. Included with this, students will be taught how to perform migrations, how to work with object relational mappings, how to work with routing, how to perform Ajax operations and how to perform test driven development.
