There is an unmet need for professionals with GIS technology skills.  Students with a GIS Certificate of Achievement may be employed with private companies and nonprofit organizations as well as city, county, state and federal agencies.  Salaries depend upon experience and degree attainment, but can range from $20,000 to $60,000 per year.
