Northeast Campus FACET Center
The FACET Center, an interactive learning facility housed within the Northeast Campus Enterprise building, is a place to experiment with technology, acquire and test new knowledge, grow, and even play academically.
The FACET Center is located in A-1 of the Enterprise building and provides these free services to students:
The FACET Center holds approximately 80 computers, free for all TCC students, faculty, and staff.
Working one-on-one, English tutors help students in any stage of the writing process and with any writing assignment. They can work with students to improve organization, development, style, grammar, documentation, etc.
Math tutors provide one-on-one tutoring for all mathematics courses from Basic Math through Differential Equations. Students may also seek help in math-related work for chemistry and physics as well as other science and engineering courses.
American Sign Language Tutoring
Students may work with the ASL tutor to review ASL concepts and partake in an ASL dialogue.
A PC specialist provides individual instruction on the lab's hardware and software resources.
Writing, Math, and Computer Workshops
Staff members conduct free, one-hour computer, writing, and math workshops throughout the semester for all current students, faculty, and staff. You can find a list of Spring 2013 workshops at the following link: 2013 Spring Workshops
Printer and Scanner
The FACET Center offers free printing (up to 20 pages a day) and scanning (as well as access to a copier, which charges $.10 per copy).
English, Math, ASL, and Computer Resources
Students have access to the FACET Center’s many print, video, and online resources, free for all TCC students.
