I have great interest in the field of hospitality, and have translated that interest into development of the Hospitality Management program at TCC.
I was born in Kaw City, Oklahoma and am married with two children, now attending college. I am a Vietnam Veteran who served as a pilot with the U.S.A.F.
My background consists of 40 years experience in Oklahoma’s hospitality industry including roles in restaurant management, management training, and as an industry advocate and spokesman. During this time I served as the Executive Director of Oklahoma’s Green Country Marketing Association for 18 years. Also, I have been a founder, and past chairman, of the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association. Awards include the Governor’s Cup Award for outstanding contributions to Oklahoma tourism by the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters.
