These courses are offered over the Internet using the Blackboard Course Management System (CMS).

TCC's online curriculum is faculty-developed ensuring the integrity of the curriculum.  Online courses focus on delivering course content effectively in an electronic environment and encouraging interactions between faculty and students and among students.

These courses are video-based courses that are offered on Tulsa Cox Cable Channel 21 or via streaming video on the Internet.

Telecourses are taught by faculty who select quality video series that match the outcomes for the course offering.  The videos are supplemented by textbooks and study guides.  Faculty communicate with students through telephone, email, and/or postal mail.  Students must come to TCC's Metro campus to take exams.

These courses are campus-based courses that are offered using compressed two-way video.  This means that, although the student must be in certain place at a certain time, the instructor may be at that location or may be teaching from a distance location. 

Because many of the ITV courses are already developed as classroom instruction, little needs to be changed in regard to the delivery format.  However, much effort is placed on supporting the student in a remote situation, including establishing video office hours, transporting course materials between instructor and student, and converting presentation materials so that they are visible and effective in an ITV environment.
