| What is
involved in taking an online (Internet) class? |
- The class is accessed through the Internet from home,
work, or TCC computer lab.
- The course web site is called Blackboard.
- Instruction is provided via the Web, CD-ROM (if applicable), and
textbook materials.
- Assignments are posted on the Blackboard course site.
- Students submit assignments to the Blackboard course site, or e-mail the
assignments electronically.
- Students communicate with instructors/classmates via e-mail,
group-threaded discussion or live chat..
- Exams are taken on campus, at an approved testing site, or over
the Internet (depending upon the course you are enrolled in).
