Download the Works converter.
  1. Click here to download from the Microsoft Download Center.
  2. Save it to your desktop.
  3. Double-click on the icon to install the converter
 
To open a Microsoft Works document:
  1. Detach or download the document to your computer.
  2. Open Microsoft Word.
  3. In the file menu, select Open.
  4. Navigate to the location where the file was detached/downloaded.
  5. Click on the document name, and open.
