TCC's Civil War Sesquicentennial Commemoration Series
The Tulsa Community College Civil War Sesquicentennial Commemoration presents Jennifer L. Weber at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 in the Alfred M. Philips Auditorium on the TCC Metro Campus and at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 in the large auditorium on the TCC Northeast Campus.
Weber will present “
Copperheads: Northern Dissent during the Civil War” on Oct. 10 and “Lincoln and Executive Power” on Oct. 11.
Weber specializes in the Civil War, especially the seams where political, social and military history meet. She is also interested in Abraham Lincoln, the 19th century U.S., war and society and the American presidency.
These presentations are funded by a TCC Faculty Innovation Grant.
