Chair for ASLE/ESL/Language, assistant professor. 25+ years teaching, management, grant writing and marketing. US DHS/CEPIN/TDI instructor to provide Deaf Cultural competency training to emergency responders. Served to review the U.S. FEMA/Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties’ Special Needs Planning Guidebook for Emergency Managers. Had implemented Domestic Violence and Tobacco Awareness program to improve communication and accessible services suited to the cultural needs.
