Admissions to the ESL Program
ESL Institute
The ESL Institute is for students who want to learn English and experience American culture. We offer an academic program for beginning and intermediate students. Advanced level students can take our Intensive English Program. All classes are taught on the Northeast Campus of Tulsa Community College. Students who want to enroll in the ESL Institute must take the official TOEFL® or IELTS test.

International Student Application for Admission
Intensive English Program (IEP)
Students who want to meet the English Proficiency requirement for full admission to Tulsa Community College through the Intensive English Program (IEP) must begin with a qualifying TOEFL® or IELTS score:

Students in the IEP program must also take and pass all five courses of intensive English during twelve weeks of study. At least two-thirds of these courses must be completed at the advanced level, which are indicated by the name "for Academic Purposes" or "for College". These courses include the following:
- Reading
- Listening
- Writing
- Grammar
- Speaking
