Informational meeting about the Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
Where: Room 214, Metro Campus Student Union
When: 4:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2014
The Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a major national scholarship for outstanding community college students who will be transferring to four-year institutions. The purpose of the scholarships is to help students with exceptional promise and demonstrated financial need to reach their educational goals. Each award will fund a portion of education costs including tuition, fees, and living expenses for two to three years of a Jack Kent Cooke scholar’s undergraduate degree. The award is worth up to $40,000 per year for up to three years.
Interested students who will have at least 30 earned credit hours by the end of the current semester should visit the scholarship website to read about the scholarship requirements. Excellent students who feel they would be good candidates are urged to attend the informational meeting hosted by Honors Program Coordinator Susan O'Neal, who is the TCC representative for the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship.
