Service-Learning

Join us at Building a Culture of Engagement!

On February 23rd, TCC will have the honor of hosting Dr. Barbara Jacoby, one of the leading service-learning scholars in the country. If you currently teach a service-learning course or you've thought about incorporating a service-learning component into a course in the future, please mark your calendars for this event!  She'll be specifically talking about engaging community college students.

Dr. Jacoby will speak at 10, 11:45, and 2:15 at the Center for Creativity.

We are asking everyone to register at: https://buildingacultureofengagement.eventbrite.com/ so that we can plan for refreshments and seating.

Hope to see you there!

A Message from TCC's President about Service-Learning:

Dear TCC Faculty,

Perhaps there can be no higher purpose than service to community. As President of Tulsa Community College, I am very proud of the leadership our faculty and students have taken in creating a Service-Learning program at TCC. The result is an educational process that is richer, shared, and remarkable. Thank you!
