Welcome to the Civil War Sesquicentennial Commemoration Webpage. This academic year (2009-2010) we will be exploring events that led to the American Civil War. To that end, we have engaged a number of speakers and planned additional events. We hope this is the first of a six-year effort to commemorate this tragic event in American History.
