What is RISE-TRIO SSS? |
|
The RISE Program is a federally funded Title IV grant program through the United States Department of Education. The acronym RISE stands for Reflective, Integrated, Scholarly and Excellence. RISE is committed to the academic success of students who meet at least one of the following criteria:

If admitted a student must attend three academic advisement sessions per semester with a RISE counselor and attend three workshops focused on professional, personal and academic enrichment. |

Office hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Closed on Fridays during the summer) |
Application Requirements:
- Student must fill out the RISE Program Application
- Student must complete the personal statement (review the application checklist for more information on this).
- Student must submit a copy of their 2011 completed Federal Taxes, or their parents if they are Dependent for the purposes of financial aid. Please visit the TCC Financial Aid link to access more information about FAFSA and TCC Financial Aid.
- All items should be submitted as one package to the RISE Program office: TCC Metro Campus, Suite 1020, 909 S. Boston Avenue, Tulsa, OK, 74112. Or they can be scanned and emailed to pdyer1@tulsacc.edu or faxed to 918-595-8972.
- Students will be contacted for an interview. Please provide two contact phone numbers.
