Disability Resources Mission Statement
Tulsa Community College is committed to providing an educational community that ensures full participation for all students. For students with disabilities this is accomplished through the provision of academic support resources offered by Disability Resources.
Disability Resources partners with students to provide accommodations that will facilitate their independence and academic progress. Accommodations include, but are not limited to, academic advisement, specialized testing, classroom accommodations, accessible textbooks, access to/assistance with assistive technology (AT) and computers, and other services as deemed necessary. Students may request accommodations by contacting the Education Access Center or may be referred by a TCC professional for one semester while in the process of providing documentation regarding their disability and accommodations needed in a post-secondary education institution.
For TCC faculty and staff, Disability Resources offices provides advisement and consultations to determine disability support resources, trainings and workshops regarding accessibility and disability issues in post-secondary educational institutions. Through partnerships with different Campus entities and community agencies, Disability Resources offices strive to create an equal opportunity for students with disabilities to participate in all activities, programs and services at all four TCC campuses and other locations.
If you have any questions regarding academic support resources, please feel free to contact the Education Access Center at 918.595.7115 (voice) or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
