To be multilingual in today's world is an asset. In the global world of tomorrow, it may be a necessity. Tulsa Community College's International Language Center is a vital link that connects today's personal and business international language needs to tomorrow's international workplace.
TCC's Global Education is the most extensive world language concept in Oklahoma and places a strong emphasis on proficiency. Many courses are taught by native-speaking faculty. You can find a complete listing of courses in TCC's class schedules or catalog.
International Languages
Students may select courses from 14 different languages: Arabic, Chinese, ESL, French, Modern Greek, Biblical Greek, German, Biblical Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, or American Sign Language. These languages are delivered in a variety of ways: classroom instruction, telecourse, interactive TV, or Internet. Language studies are supported by computerized language labs during the day and evening.

Language Laboratory
The Language Labs on each Tulsa Community College campus are designed to meet the current and future international language needs of people and businesses in Tulsa and Oklahoma. Students may receive classroom-type instruction via independent study, voice monitoring and voice comparison features are also unique aids available through the labs' computers. Computers are also available to support classroom instruction and distance learning and to assist enrolled in Internet language classes at TCC and abroad. The international language laboratories are open twelve hours a day* (see lab hours below) for the convenience of day and evening students.
