Veterans Resource Center
Veterans are an important part of the student body at Tulsa Community College. To better serve these men and women and their dependents, TCC has developed a Veterans Resource Center at TCC Metro Campus on the 2nd floor of the Student Union. This resource center provides information, advisement and a link to one-on-one assistance for veterans seeking to enhance their future through higher education.
Resources provided in the Veterans Resource Center, Metro Campus Student Union, Room 208:
- Fully furnished lounge with flat screen TV.
- Study area with computers for research and homework.
- Advisors to assist veterans in their transition to life as civilians.
- Information and checklists to assist veterans in receiving their VA education benefits.
- Trained volunteers from the VA and various veterans organizations.
Resources provided in the Veterans Services Office, Metro Campus Student Union, Room 1021:
- TCC Veterans Certifying Official on staff.
- Assistance in communication with the Veterans Administration.
- Assistance in securing DD214 discharge papers.
- Information on how to secure unemployment benefits for those who qualify.
- Assistance in securing transcripts from other colleges if applicable.
- Ongoing academic and eligibility advisement related to maintaining VA education benefits.
