Supervisors and Budget Owners Meeting Included an Update on the State Budget

The newly renamed Supervisors and Budget Owners Group, formerly known as Administrative Council kicked off its first meeting of the Fall Semester with an update on wellness, new survey guidelines, outdated marketing materials, and an update on Strategic Plan KPIs.  
 
President Leigh Goodson began the meeting with an update on the state budget. .

Enrollment at West Campus Up 5 Percent 

TCC’s West Campus has shown substantial enrollment growth this fall compared to the fall 2016 semester, largely due to the growing presence of concurrent enrollment students from surrounding high schools. Read what is happening at West Campus.

Spring Break and Summer Hours Continue for 2018 

At the Supervisors and Budget Owners Meeting on Sept. 28, TCC President Leigh Goodson announced the College will continue the same services as last year for both spring break 2018 and summer hours.
 
“We’ve reviewed the data and I’m happy to announce we will continue our operations like last year for both spring break and summer hours,” Goodson said. “This means the College will be closed for spring break, with the exception of Metro Campus, and we will close at 1 p.m. on Fridays in the summer.”  Read more about summer hours and spring break.

Priority Enrollment to Begin Oct. 30

TCC is taking steps to ensure a more orderly enrollment period for the Spring 2018 semester with the implementation of Priority Enrollment beginning Oct. 30.
 
Spring enrollment will be staggered across three weeks, with students who are making progress toward degree completion rewarded with the opportunity to enroll earlier.
