Join the TCC Book Club

Do you love reading? Are you looking for a place to discuss books? All staff and faculty are invited to join the TCC Book Club, sponsored by the Office of the President and CEO.  The club will read one book per semester, starting with a book critics have raved about: The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics by Daniel James Brown.  This is sure to be an enjoyable read!

Club members will meet at the newly renovated Central Library Pocahontas Greadington Learning and Creativity Center on November 14th from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm for a rousing book discussion.  Club members will facilitate discussion, and refreshments will be available.  This is an excellent opportunity to mingle with fellow bibliophiles and grow professionally. You can register for the book club by contacting Adam Brennan at adam.brennan@tulsacc.edu or registering online.

News IconHelp Community College Students Impacted by Hurricane Harvey

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is leading Harvey HELP (Higher Education Learning Pathways) a relief fund dedicating to helping college students affected by Hurricane Harvey. The goal of Harvey HELP is to bring the Texas higher education community together to help students successfully recover from Hurricane Harvey, return to classes, and persist on their higher education learning pathway. A gofundme page has been established to support Harvey HELP.

At this time no community college fundraising campaign has been established for victims of Hurricane Irma. We will notify the TCC community when we receive word from AACC to help our peers in Florida.
