Beadwork with Cynthia Masterson

Beadwork is easier than you think! Whether you are a leftie, rightie, 8 years old or 80, Tulsa ex-pat Cynthia Masterson says anyone can learn "gourd," or sometimes called "peyote," bead-weaving. She will teach this 3-drop version during an in-person class 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 25 in the Center for Creativity.

"Beginners will start with big pony beads," Cynthia says. "Experienced beaders can use 11/0 seed beads. I'll simplify the challenging style by illuminating the math and physics involved for a successful project."
