The process to review, evaluate and rewrite the College's Mission, Vision and Values begins this month.
“We are calling this process "Mission Forward," says President Leigh Goodson. “The Mission Forward work seeks to update and ensure these guided precepts are reflective of the College’s work and place in the community.”
Mission Forward is a two-year plan. Year one tackles TCC's Mission, Vision and Values. Year two updates the College's Strategic Plan.
Mission Forward begins this month and will include various information gathering sessions, with employees, students, the community, and the TCC Board of Regents.
“The mission statement serves as the foundation to our College. It explains our purpose-what we are and why we exist,” says Lindsay White, TCC senior strategy advisor to the President “That is why it is vital that everyone has an opportunity to tell us what TCC means to them.”
All employees are invited to the Open Lines sessions with President Goodson to kick off the process. The President will give an update on the College for the first part of the meeting then there will be a facilitated discussion regarding our mission, vision and values.
