Tarver earned a master’s degree in human relations from University of Oklahoma and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oklahoma State University. She is currently enrolled in Oklahoma State University’s Social Foundations of Education doctoral program where she is working to complete her dissertation.

TCC is currently one of 30 community colleges in the country that is part of a national initiative funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and focused on raising college graduation rates across the country through guided academic and career pathways. The Pathways Project, led by American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), builds better bridges for students from high school graduation to college completion leading to university transfer or credentials that match labor market needs.
