TCC Northeast Campus Invites You to SummerFest

You are invited to SummerFest, Saturday, July 27 for a day of fun at the Tulsa Community College Northeast Campus. The free event runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The campus is located at 3727 East Apache (Apache & Harvard).

SummerFest will provide fun and entertainment for the entire family including live music from Charlie Redd and The Full Flava Kings as well as STEM camps, games, prizes, a basketball tournament and a kids’ zone. Free food will be available for the first 500 people.

“We want you to know you belong here. We are part of this community and welcome anyone to check out what we offer area families from attending college, learning a new job skill, and hosting public events designed to address the unique needs of our community,” said Eunice Tarver TCC Provost for School of Engineering, Aviation & Public Service and Assistant Vice President for Diversity & Inclusion.

SummerFest is a perfect opportunity to learn about workforce programs leading to a credential or certificate to help improve your job skills, academic programs for a college degree, and scholarship opportunities including Tulsa Achieves that pays tuition and fees for qualified students coming directly from high school.

In addition to free food, individuals with Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial will provide free basic school supplies such as paper, pencils, markers, crayons, and glue. Plus, free produce will be available through Food On The Move’s pay as you can initiative to combat hunger in Tulsa.

“For five years, the TCC Northeast Campus has been our home for monthly Food On The Move events with our focus on combating the lack of healthy food access for this area. We are thrilled to join the whole TCC team to celebrate the important connection between the campus and the great northeast community,” said Taylor Hanson, Food On The Move Executive Director.
