Anis Jauregui completed her Associate in Science Pre-Nursing in May 2020 but admits while it may have been a slow start, she isn’t done with education.
“It took a little more than eight years for me to finish my associate degree. I started at TCC in 2012 but took a few breaks from college along the way. Still, I persevered and graduated,” said Jauregui.
Now, she plans to apply to TCC’s Nursing program and wants to eventually complete a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She has some advice to pass along to others.
“I want to urge everyone to keep pushing forward. Don’t listen to the negative comments that people say to try and bring you down. Stay on your course,” said Jauregui.
