Believe in TCC Campaign

Your Tulsa Community College Foundation believes in the mission and vision of our College. Together we work diligently to provide the support to allow our students and employees to shine.

You might ask why private giving matters for a public institution, and especially why we would look to our own colleagues as a source for private gifts. Quite simply, private giving matters because state and local funding cannot sustain all that we do. Together, we not only impact student success, but the success of our friends and colleagues. Your support of your TCC Foundation allows us to provide more scholarships, more academic enrichment activities, and numerous other initiatives that make TCC a special place to study and work.

Philanthropy spreads from the inside out. Your support sends a compelling message to our private donors that you believe TCC is a worthy investment. Thank you for encouraging others to give their support to our College.

2019 Participation Goal 35%. 2013 12%. 2014 22%. 2015 25%. 2016 25%. 2017 25%. 2018 32%.

What is the Believe in TCC Campaign?

The Believe in TCC campaign is part of the TCC Foundation’s annual campaign that cultivates funding from employees.

How are these funds used?

Funds raised through the Believe in TCC Campaign circle right back to benefit our campuses. Our Foundation Funds at Work report details the amount of support provided in the last year.

Can I designate where I want my Believe in TCC donation to go?

At this time, all Believe in TCC donations are directed towards three strategic areas, campus activities and academic programs, capital projects and equipment, and scholarships and talentships.

Why does TCC’s Foundation need to raise funds?

State and local funding allocated to TCC is not always enough to support our strategic goals. By raising private funding, your TCC Foundation is better able to support employee initiatives and bring an extra measure of excellence to academic and student success.

I already give a lot of time and effort to TCC, why should I donate money on top of that?

We truly appreciate your hard work and dedication to TCC. The higher the percentage of employees who give—the easier it is to secure outside, private support. Our giving shows non-college donors that we Believe in what we do at TCC and support our work with our own charitable giving. Every bit we can give counts. Your donation of just $2 per pay period can add up to $50.00 over the year. Your participation counts in so many ways.
