Faculty Student Success Liaison (FSSL) Program
Faculty Student Success Liaison (FSSL) Program
The Faculty Student Success Liaison program (FSSL) connects faculty to more of TCC's educational resources, and educates them on the benefits of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs partnerships! Participating faculty will be able to integrate universal design into their instruction to better support students with disabilities and those experiencing academic challenges.
What FSSL Does:
- Partners with Accessibility Resources.
- Provides one-on-one faculty sessions and workshops on educational and social aspects of certain disabilities.
- Provides instruction on use of universal design strategies to assist students with course specific academic challenges.
- Serves as advocate for students and faculty.
- Facilitates workshops with area high schools, students and community agencies, which promotes awareness of TCC support services, disability resources and instructional assistance.
What FSSL Does Not:
- Reduce academic rigor.
