Discount & Lending Programs
Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)
The ACP is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) benefit program that can help you pay for the broadband internet access you need to succeed in your education.
To see if your internet provider is a participating in the program, or to find a participating provider near you use the Companies Near Me Tool.
The deadline to enroll in ACP is Feb. 7, 2024. To enroll in the program you must:
- Go to GetInternet.gov (AccedeaInternet.gov en español) to submit an application.
- Contact your preferred participating provider to select a plan and have the discount applied to your bill.
Program Benefits
The benefit provides:
- A discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households
- A discount of up to $70 per month for households on qualifying tribal lands
Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.
Who is Eligible?
A household is eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program if one of the following are true:
- Household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
- A member of the household received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year
- A member of the household participates in an approved government assistance program
TCC's Hotspot and Laptop Loan Program is designed to assist students who demonstrate a need for internet access and/or a laptop.
Supply is Extremely Limited
Loans are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Call the Metro Library information desk at 918-595-7172 to check availability before coming to the Metro Library.
