50th Anniversary Notable Alumni Feature Isaac Rocha: Isaac serves as Reginal Business Development & Inclusion Officer with Tulsa-based Bama Companies, Inc. Currently based in Los Angeles, he is responsible for covering the western half of the United States for all aspects of selling Bama pies, biscuits, hotcakes and future product extensions. He also executes Bama’s Inclusion & Diversity strategy reinforcing Bama’s commitment to multicultural intelligence and creating inclusivity for all team members.

After earning his associate degree in Marketing at Tulsa Community College in 2008, he completed his bachelor’s degree and then returned to TCC in 2015 to deliver the commencement address to a thousand-plus graduates. It was also the same year he was Tulsa’s Young Professionals, or TYPros, Chair.

“I would have never imagined that I would be traveling the world, representing an international company headquartered in Tulsa, being mentored by a CEO, raising more than $2.5 million for organizations in our community, building a school in Africa, chairing the largest young professional group in the nation, or at the age of 31, being a commencement speaker for the largest community college in Oklahoma,” he said.

Isaac is also a co-owner and managing partner of Glazed Edibles, The Emerald Gallery and Black Rain Glacier, LLC, which owns Glacier Confection, a high-end confection chocolatier, with two retail store fronts in Tulsa.

He currently serves on the advisory board of the national Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance, an extension of the National Restaurant Association. He is a past board member of the Oklahoma State Chamber, Tulsa Regional Chamber, Federal Workforce Tulsa, Tulsa Community Foundation, and Mental Health Association of Oklahoma. He also served as an appointed Commissioner to the Greater Tulsa Area Hispanic Affairs Commission through the Tulsa Mayor’s Office. In addition, he is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma Class 28.
