TCC Joins Forces with Five Other Higher Ed Institutions to Help Students
Tulsa Community College, along with regional partners Langston University, Northeastern State University, Oklahoma State University, Rogers State University, and The University of Tulsa have joined forces for the Tulsa Transfer Project.

TCC Announces 50th Anniversary Plans
Tulsa Community College announces a series of events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of TCC and mark its role in developing northeastern Oklahoma’s workforce. Since opening in 1970 as Tulsa Junior College, the College has been a critical piece in training generations of workers and providing higher education to the greater Tulsa area. Nearly 450,000 students have walked through the doors as TCC has grown into one of the leading higher education institutions in the country and the third largest institution in Oklahoma.

TCC Student Named a 2018 Newman Civic Fellow
Joseph Mason uses his voice to be a public problem solver by leading the discussion about food security issues facing his fellow classmates at Tulsa Community College. Mason helped establish a campus food pantry at the TCC Metro Campus and participated in a community Sustainability Conference in an effort to unify both campus and local communities to reduce food insecurity.

New Program by TCC and NSU will Transform Educational Experience for Broken Arrow Students
A new dual credit program offers Broken Arrow High School students the opportunity to graduate high school with a diploma and earn an associate degree from Tulsa Community College. Then, the student has the option to seamlessly transfer to Northeast State University to complete a bachelor’s degree.

TCC Theatre Department Performs “Greek Soup”
Take a small deli in Athens, New York, a health inspector and mix in a number of tragic Greek characters from literature and you get the recipe for a hilarious comedy, “Greek Soup.” Written by Mark Frank, the zany play won the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Region 5 merit award for Outstanding Writing of a Farce in 2003.

Tulsa Community College Names T.W. Shannon as 2017 Commencement Speaker
Former Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives T.W. Shannon will deliver the keynote address at the 47th annual Tulsa Community College Commencement Ceremony. Shannon was the first Chickasaw and first African-American to become Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2013 and the youngest at the age of 34.
