The FACET Center is a central location for TCC students to get help for their classes. It houses Northeast Campus’s Writing Center, Math and Science Lab, ASL Lab, and technology lab.
The FACET Center is located in A-1 of the Enterprise building and provides these free services to students:
Computer Access and Help
The FACET Center holds over 90 computers, free for all TCC students, faculty, and staff. A PC specialist provides individual tutoring for computer courses and help with the lab's hardware and software resources.
Tulsa Community College Writing Centers promote collaboration in all stages of the writing process, striving to create more confident and proficient writers. Our writing consultants help students develop skills and strategies to become more independent, critical thinkers and effective communicators. We assist in areas such as:
- Organizing and developing ideas
- Writing across different genres, disciplines, and media platforms
- Integrating research and citing sources in appropriate formats
- Revising drafts
- Understanding and using appropriate grammar, punctuation, and style
In addition, by partnering with faculty of all disciplines, we work to increase student access to academic support, thereby fostering student achievement and encouraging an open dialogue about successful writing within the college community.
Students can also check out the TCC Writing Center website for online handouts and resources: owl.tulsacc.edu.
Math and Science Lab
Math and science specialists provide one-on-one tutoring for all mathematics courses from Basic Math through Differential Equations and science courses, including Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering.
American Sign Language Lab
Students may work with the ASL specialist to review ASL concepts and practice their ASL skills.
Printers, Scanners, and Copier
The FACET Center offers free printing, scanning, and copying for TCC students.
Students are free to use our many individual and collaborative study spaces in the FACET Center.
Writing, Math, and Computer Workshops
