You may think of going to college or back to school for a career change but it can help your career too. Tulsa Community College offers you the chance to jump start your current career and improve your position or pay by taking classes.

“We understand with a low unemployment rate in northeast Oklahoma, people aren’t necessarily looking for a job but now is the time to enhance the job you have,” said Pat Green. “TCC offers options that you could complete in a semester or two that would raise your skill level and make you more marketable.”

TCC has a number of Workforce Certificates that provide hands-on training in a short amount of time starting with six credit hours and going up. TCC has certificates in professional areas such as Accounting, Business, Information Technology, Project Management and Human Resources. We also have certificate options for Electronics Technology and Engineering Technology including Drafting and Design, Manufacturing Production Technician and Quality Technology.

During the 2016-2017 academic year, more than 250 individuals earned a certificate at TCC. The credit hours completed for certificates can typically be applied toward an Associated of Applied Science, which is a workforce development degree at TCC. The Workforce Development degrees are designed to go directly into the workforce.

The upcoming spring 2018 semester is a perfect opportunity for you to get started on your next promotion or obtaining a higher level of pay. With a few courses, you may be able to earn a certificate or finish your degree.
