March with fellow TCC classmates and colleagues in the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on Jan. 19 that encourages people to “Celebrate Change.”

Marching participants need to be in position by 10 a.m. The procession begins at 11 a.m. at John Hope Franklin and Martin Luther King, Jr. intersection.

Since several streets will be blocked and traffic will be heavy, the African American Student Association offers pick up and drop off from the Metro Campus.

Pick up location: Based on the parade route and drop-off points, individuals can park in the northeast parking lot across from the Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity on the TCC Metro Campus. Participants will be dropped off at the John Hope Franklin and Martin Luther King, Jr. intersection.

Pick up times: 9 to 9:45 a.m.

Participants are encouraged to make reservations online for pick-up and return. Participants are encouraged to wear TCC blue or solid black outerwear.
