Paola Gonzalez was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and came to the United States when she was 2 years old. After graduating from Memorial High School, the 2016 freshman chose TCC to major in Pre-Medicine as the next step to a career in the medical field.
“TCC is convenient, affordable and close to my family,” she said.
The My Dream scholar says being from another country gives her an experience and appreciation for culture that she hopes to broaden and share at TCC. Paola has been surprised to see how large and expansive TCC is and said her experience at TCC will help her show that college is for her.
