With Oklahoma high school students off for Spring Break, Tulsa Community College is offering a chance to get a head start for college readiness. The TCC Metro Campus will be open during the week of March 14 – 18, 2016. Other TCC locations will be closed.

Metro Campus will remain open because of its central location and access to public transportation. Located at 909 South Boston in downtown Tulsa, this campus will offer regular services and academic support to current students and be available for prospective students to see an advisor, apply and fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

“We see this as an opportunity to help perspective students and current students at a time when it is convenient for them,” said TCC President and CEO Leigh B. Goodson, Ph.D. “By expanding the services we provide during this week, we believe Spring Break access will be welcomed by students and fulfills the student-focused mission of the college.”

The TCC Metro Campus will be open for the following service hours.

  • 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday – Thursday
  • 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday

Information sessions will be held daily at 1:30 p.m. in the Metro Campus Film Lecture Room. Campus tours will be held daily at 2 p.m., immediately following the information session and beginning outside the Metro Campus Film Lecture Room.

In addition, there will be a financial aid and Tulsa Achieves presentation at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 17. The session will cover information about how to apply for financial aid and how to apply for Tulsa Achieves. Immediately following the presentation, an application workshop will assist students and parents in filling out the TCC admissions application as well as the Tulsa Achieves application. The workshop begins at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 17.
