Spring Forward to College During Spring Break

With Oklahoma high school students off for spring break, Tulsa Community College offers a chance to spring forward to college. This is the perfect opportunity to take a college campus tour, apply to college and begin the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The TCC Metro Campus will be open during the week of March 13 – 17, 2017. All other TCC locations will be closed.
The TCC Metro Campus, 909 South Boston Ave., is centrally located and has access to public transportation. Spring break student service hours are:
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday
10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday
“TCC provided services to several thousand students during the spring break week in 2016. We see this as an opportunity to help prospective students and current students at a time when it is convenient for them,” said TCC President and CEO Leigh B. Goodson, Ph.D.
The following service areas will be available for prospective or current students: Academic Advising, Bursar, Student Support Center, Education Access Center, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, First Stop, Library, Student Activities Office, Fitness Center, and Testing Center. The Campus Store at Metro Campus will also be open.
In addition, current students can see an advisor and have access to tutors from the Writing Center and the Math Lab in the library. Walk-ins are welcome but students without appointments may have to wait. Students who wish to make a spring break appointment should contact the Writing Center or Math Lab in advance or call the Metro Campus Library (918) 595-7172 during the week of spring break.
New students can apply to TCC, visit with an advisor, begin the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA, learn about Tulsa Achieves and other scholarships. Admission & Prospective Student Services will offer daily campus tours at 2 p.m. TCC will continue the FAFSA Thursday help sessions on Thursday, March 16. Following the campus tour, the session will provide one-on-one assistance to help individuals apply to TCC, apply to Tulsa Achieves, and fill out the FAFSA.
Free parking is available in any TCC parking lot designated with blue stripes.
