Tulsa Community College’s Music and Theatre departments present “Company,” a comical production that centers on the issue of commitment from the perspective of Bobby, a single man who finds it difficult to settle down. Bobby’s three girlfriends and his well-intentioned married friends set out to help him, believing they have the answers to help him find marital bliss.

This is the second production that the female directing team of Lisa Stefanic and Laura Cowan have worked together with a cast and crew of TCC students.

“We see some terrific talent in the Theatre and Music departments at TCC. Our students are willing to work hard and learn. Through their efforts, they find they are a wanted commodity in the theatre community,” said Stefanic.

Stefanic is guest director as well as TCC adjunct instructor and Cowan is musical director and a TCC faculty member in the music department.

“It is such a pleasure to work with Lisa on this project, I have great respect for her as a performer and director,” said Cowan. “I love the exchange of ideas between the two of us and our departments, I gain so much as an instructor by watching her expertise and how she is able to build confidence in our students while pulling the best out in our cast.”

Performances for “Company” are 7:30 p.m., Feb. 16, 17 and 18 and 2 p.m., Feb. 18 and 19 at the VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education Main Theatre on the TCC Southeast Campus. The campus is located on East 81st at highway 169.

Tickets for all performances are $15 adults, $10 seniors, $6 TCC students and faculty. Student rush tickets are available one hour before performance for $5. Tickets can be purchased at the VanTrease PACE ticket office on the TCC Southeast Campus.
