Tulsa Community College Theatre Department will present “The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie at 8 p.m. Nov. 15, 16, 21, 22, 23 and 2 p.m. Nov. 17 and 24 on the main stage in the VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education. The production is directed by TCC’s Theatre Coordinator Mark Frank.

“The Mousetrap”is considered to be one of the finest plays ever written and is filled with suspense. The classic British murder mystery has a plot that engages the audience the moment the curtain is raised. The original stage play premiered more than 60 years ago.

Snowed in and stranded by a snowdrift at a hotel, guests fear for their lives when Detective Sergeant Trotter arrives to tell them that a murderer is on the loose. When one of the hotel guests is killed, it’s obvious that the murderer is among them.

In true murder-mystery style, the guests re-enact the murder in order to discover the identity of the killer. Then a plot is hatched to set a trap.

For tickets, call (918) 595-7777 or purchase them at the VanTrease PACE ticket office.
