“Our graduates have demonstrated remarkable resilience and commitment to their education, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements,” said TCC CEO and President Leigh Goodson, Ph.D. “As these individuals step forward into their futures, we remain committed to supporting their ongoing pursuit of knowledge and success.”

M. Susan Savage, former mayor of Tulsa, was the keynote speaker for two back-to-back commencement ceremonies held at the University of Tulsa’s Reynolds Center. Savage won the mayoral special election in 1992 to become the city’s first woman mayor and was later appointed to Secretary of State by Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry, serving from 2003-2011.

“Your lifelong pursuit of education and knowledge will open new doors and present new challenges,” said Savage in her commencement address. “So, I encourage you to continue to expand your knowledge, expand your wisdom, expand your desirable qualities of mind and character and never stop.”

Preliminary data shows TCC saw 2,480 graduates in the 2023-24 academic year. The number of degrees and certificates awarded is estimated at 2,860. Final numbers will be available later this year.
