TCC Band Director Receives National Recognition
Cheryl Lee, Tulsa Community College’s Director of Bands and Assistant Professor of Music, received the George N. Parks Leadership in Music Education Award, a prominent honor recognizing her dedication, perseverance, and ability to inspire students beyond the classroom. In her first year at TCC, Lee has brought a wealth of experience from her 20-year career teaching high school band and has embraced the opportunity to lead the College’s band program.

Cyber Skills Center Celebrates Graduation of Fourth Cohort, First AI Program
The Cyber Skills Center at TCC graduated its fourth cohort, including its first AI program. The 24-week virtual bootcamps in Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and AI prepare students for in-demand careers, supported by scholarships from the George Kaiser Family Foundation.

Student Artist Captures Sense of Community with Holiday Card Design
Tulsa Community College student Scout Haggard won the College’s holiday card contest with a painting of TCC’s Southeast Campus in a snowy scene. Haggard says she was inspired by the warmth and sense of community she feels on campus.

Tulsa Community College welcomes Dr. Matthew Olsen as Chief Human Resources Officer and John Price as Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel to the President's Cabinet. Both leaders bring extensive experience and strategic insight to the College and support TCC’s mission of accessible, quality education for the Tulsa community.

TCC Hosts Inaugural Manufacturing Day
TCC hosted its first-ever Manufacturing Day at the Northeast Campus, bringing dozens of Tulsa Public Schools students together on Oct. 3 and 4. Over the course of two days, students engaged in hands-on activities giving them valuable exposure to the practical skills needed in engineering and manufacturing careers.
